Blur Motion
Blur motion is when you're taking a picture with your subject making a movement with the shutter speed slowed down a bit to be able to capture the blurred movement of your subject doing the movement. What you need to create a Blur Motion image is first you need to slow down your shutter speed, the key to capturing the subjects motion as if it were at super speed so the longer your shutter speed the better your image will come out. My subject will be one of my classmates, and what he/she will be doing is a number of things but limited to the area that we are working in. Things such as jumping from a specific spot, rolling on the ground or walking, maybe dong a cartwheel, etc. To get the blur motion effect you have to lower your shutter speed like I said the longer your shutter speed the more the image will come out how you want it to.

Still life journal
The kind of still life that I'm thinking of creating is maybe something with a mason jar with some lights and buttons, In dark lighting though so the light inside the jar comes out better. Also something with flowers and shoes or boots like putting an arrangement of flowers inside of a boot or shoe with a spot light. The items or some of the items I will need to bring are mason jars, and some fake little candles or candles. Also some flower arrangements, with maybe a small boot or shoe with some soil and along with the mason jars some buttons. How I think the lighting is going to work for me is I want to take some of my photos in a dark room but with a spotlight on my objects so it creates a mood. I think if I find the right area to take my photos then the lighting will work to my advantage. My still life is going to be a mixture of both contemporary and traditional in appearances because of how I'm going to have my items that i bring and how I'll have them set up with the lighting and everything some will look traditional and some will look contemporary and stand out more.
Is your still life based of something like a theme from a book? Explain. My Still Life is gonna be more along the lines of a movie type of thing like something from a movie or I guess it could be like something from book but either way my images will have a story to tell and have a lot of life to them.
The type of photography I chose for this project is Silhouette Photography. I chose this type because it has an emotion to its style, view of an object or a scene with the silhouetted object usually being black. It can be described as calming because these types of photos taken are usually using the sun as a key light making the object or subject have a black outline, a shadow. How I plan to shoot these images is I am going to use the sun rise or sun set, or just the sun in daylight as a natural light to create my silhouette effect. For my style of photography I would need the time of day to be, like I said before sunrise or sunset and I would need a model, object or natural of some sort. Where I plan to take these images is at the park or mountains, maybe at the petroglyphs. Why I wanted to try and do this type of photography for this project is because it is a really emotional style and can be created in many different ways.
